It usually takes around 20 minutes by taxi, and the fare is about CNY 30+ — roughly USD 5.
After leaving the arrival hall, follow the signs for “Taxi” to the taxi pick-up area. Just make sure to ask the driver to use the meter before getting in.

Do I need a sourcing agent in Yiwu?
If this is your first time sourcing in Yiwu, a local sourcing agent can guide you through the market more efficiently, discuss product details, packaging, and basic customization with sellers, compare prices, follow up on orders, inspect goods, and arrange international shipping.
If you are only buying ready-made products and already work with trusted English-speaking suppliers, you may not need a sourcing agent. You can ask the suppliers to deliver the goods to your freight forwarder at the agreed time, and the forwarder will handle container loading and shipping.
However, this depends a lot on trust between you and the suppliers. For large orders, most buyers still arrange inspection before shipment. If you are still in Yiwu when the goods are ready, you can inspect them yourself. Otherwise, you can work with a sourcing agent for product inspection or use a third-party inspection company.
Leaving Yiwu by train? Do not cut it too close
If you are leaving Yiwu by high-speed train, give yourself more time than you normally would.
At Yiwu Railway Station, ticket checks at some gates may close more than 10 minutes before departure, and sometimes even earlier, because the walk from certain gates to the platforms can take longer than expected.
Try to get to Yiwu Railway Station 30–45 minutes before your train leaves, especially if it is your first time departing from here.
