Guangzhou is known as the “Cosmetics Capital” of China, with the largest number of cosmetic manufacturers and well-established supply chains. In this blog, we’ll introduce the 3 major wholesale cosmetic markets, all located in Sanyuanli Sub-district, Baiyun District, Guangzhou.

Guangzhou Beauty Exchange Center (广州美博城)

Beauty Exchange Center (美博城) is the largest cosmetics trading hub in China and Asia, supporting wholesale and retail. The market has 4 parts: Main Building, Block A, B, and C.

You’ll find everything from skincare, makeup, perfume, daily personal care, and beauty tools, to packaging bottles, jars, boxes, and more. Usually,

  • African buyers often source wigs and scented products.
  • Arabian countries focus on hair care products.

💡 Beauty Exchange Center specializes in professional-use products like lyophilized powder, facial machines, and hair styling equipment used in salons and spas.

Additionally, every year from March 8–13, it hosts the Guangdong Cosmetics Festival, popular among overseas buyers based in Guangzhou, especially from Africa, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.

Guangzhou Xing Fa Plaza (广州兴发广场)

Just one metro stop away, you’ll see Xing Fa Plaza (广州兴发广场), which has two phases.

Xing Fa Plaza Phase 1 (兴发广场一期)

As the earliest cosmetics wholesale market in Guangzhou, Xing Fa Plaza Phase 1 (兴发广场一期) has 12 blocks, each focusing on different categories like:

Xing Fa Plaza Phase 2 (兴发广场二期)

All suppliers in Phase 2 have relocated to nearby markets like EVA Cosmetics Plaza (怡发化妆品广场). Phase 2 is currently being renovated into a 21-story commercial complex, expected to reopen by the end of 2026.

EVA International Cosmetics Purchasing Center (怡发国际化妆品采购中心)

EVA International Cosmetics Purchasing Center (怡发国际化妆品采购中心) offers a wide range of nail art supplies, skincare and body care, makeup items & tools, similar to Xing Fa Plaza (兴发广场). The two markets are located close to each other—convenient to visit together.

That said, EVA International (怡发国际) is best known as one of China’s top three press-on nail wholesale hubs—along with Yiwu markets and Donghai Town in Jiangsu Province. You’ll find everything here, from basic styles and Western designs to the latest trends.

How to explore EVA International?

If buying nail supplies for personal use, just head into the first floor of the mall—plenty of options available.

For press-on nail bulk wholesale, go directly to Xingtai Road (兴泰路), the street right outside the mall. It’s full of wholesale press-on nail stores.

About the MOQ, most suppliers require 30 sets per style, but I did find some stores willing to accept 10–15 sets—it just takes asking a few more places.

Regarding wholesale pricing, handmade press-on nails usually go for $2–$5 per set, and semi-handmade ones for $0.85–$1.3. The more you buy, the better deal you can get.

Two key tips for buying in Guangzhou cosmetic markets

Always compare multiple suppliers and check certifications. Typically, MSDS, Commodity Inspection, FDA (for North America), CE, REACH, and RoHS (for Europe).

For suppliers you think are OK, ask to visit their factory to check the production environment and capabilities. This helps confirm whether they have the equipment, licenses, and experience needed to manufacture your product properly.

Too often, suppliers claim they can produce all kinds of cosmetics—but in reality, no single factory can do everything due to different machines and technologies. For example,

  • Factories that make eyeshadow or lipstick can’t produce makeup brushes.
  • Most mask factories can’t make single-dose essences unless they’ve invested in specialized BFS equipment—used for products like ampoules, eye drops, and liquid disinfectants.
