Every year, Yiwu hosts a series of international trade fairs, most of which take place at the Yiwu International Expo Center. Today, I’ll introduce the two most important fairs and list others for your reference at the end.
1. China Yiwu International Commodities Fair (中国义乌国际小商品博览会)
Yiwu Fair, or Yiwu International Commodities Fair, is a miniature version of the Yiwu Market and the most influential fair for daily consumer goods in China.
- Yiwu International Expo Center (No.59 Zongze Road, Yiwu, Zhejiang, 322000 China)
- Daily consumer goods, apparel, textiles, toys, sports and outdoor leisure products, hardware tools, electronics and appliances, cultural & office supplies, etc.
- Typically held from October 21 to 24 each year (subject to official notice)
Among all international participants, most come from developing countries like Africa, the Middle East, India, and Russia, along with developed countries such as South Korea. They are generally experienced importers and can be divided into 2 main groups:
- Foreign businesses based in Yiwu, such as Turkish buyers, attend the fair to stay updated on market trends and gather product information.
- Post-Canton Fair buyers, many of whom visit the Yiwu Fair right after the Canton Fair, attend to upgrade their product quality and find new suppliers.

The MOQ set by suppliers at Yiwu fairs is friendly to small and medium-sized businesses. For example, a buyer from Albania saw a colorful retractable folding stool and ordered 200 pieces after negotiating the price and shipping time with the supplier.
Additionally, tickets to the Yiwu Fair are free for foreign buyers. Overseas buyers not based in Yiwu attending the fair with a Canton Fair certificate can receive around $170 cash reward.
2. China Yiwu International Hardware & Electrical Appliances Trade Fair (中国义乌国际五金电器博览会)
China Yiwu International Hardware & Electrical Appliances Trade Fair is one of the most professional and influential hardware fairs in East China. India, Pakistan, Yemen, Afghanistan, and Russia are the top five countries for international buyers.
- Yiwu International Expo Center (No.59 Zongze Road, Yiwu, Zhejiang, 322000 China)
- Electromechanical facilities, hardware tools, home appliances, architectural hardware, daily hardware, labor protection appliances, smart electronics, etc.
- Typically held from April 20th to 22nd each year (subject to official notice)
Yiwu has well-established hardware industry networks, with key manufacturing bases like Jinhua (tools), Yongkang (hardware), Wuyi (electric tools) just an hour away, and Pujiang (locks) only 30 minutes away. This way, you can attend the fair to source products and audit factories—all in one trip.
