Today, we’re taking a look at 9 Christmas products that have been selling well lately. From squishy toy, AI-designed products and DIY craft kits to creative takes on classic Christmas themes and popular IPs, we’ll look at their sales, design highlights, and sourcing costs in China to see what’s catching shoppers’ attention.
24 Days of Squishy Surprises
Recently, an advent calendar filled with squishy toy has been taking off on TikTok. Priced at $26.88, it sold 35.74K units within a month of launching on September 4, bringing total sales to 56.6K units. Similar products can be sourced from China for just $2–5 per box.
The product may have been inspired by NeeDoh’s fidget toy advent calendar, which sells for $29.99 and sold out shortly after launch. This seller was quick to spot the opportunity and launch a similar version.
Interestingly, their store spans multiple product categories, suggesting a trend-driven approach to sourcing: spotting what’s gaining traction and jumping on the opportunity. However, the bestseller hasn’t received the best reviews. Many buyers complain that the toys are too small, feel cheaply made, and have a sticky texture.
Advent calendars can be filled with all kinds of surprises, from 3D-printed mini figures to charms and other small toys. These items are usually inexpensive to source from China. The packaging can be just as creative, with designs like cake-shaped boxes and rotating display boxes.
AI Brings New Ideas to Christmas DIY
Pearl painting has been gaining popularity lately, and we’ve noticed more sellers offering Christmas-themed designs. This product uses AI to create Christmas artwork, combining the raised look of pearl beads with the process of diamond painting.Launched in July 2026 at $31, it sold nearly 7,000 kits in its first two weeks and has reached 11,300 sales so far.
We’ve sourced similar products for clients before, at around $1.40 per kit in China. Once the Christmas design and canvas size are confirmed, the factory converts the artwork into a production pattern and calculates how many beads of each color are needed, with some extras included.
We work with the client to confirm the design, colors, and size, and ask the factory for a breakdown of bead quantities by color. Beyond flat designs, pearl art is also branching out into 3D creations, like this DIY beaded Christmas house decorated with pearls and gems.
Give a Heated Robe a Grinch Makeover
Wearing Christmas pajamas is a holiday tradition for many families. Most heated robes on the market stick to basic styles and colors like gray and black. But one robe takes a more festive approach, featuring the Grinch’s signature green look paired with a red robe. It has a loose, hooded design that extends to the feet, a built-in foot pocket for extra warmth, and three heat settings.
An early TikTok video posted on September 9 showed someone wearing the robe and looking just like the Grinch in cosplay. The video received 242K likes. The robe sells for $139.99, and a screenshot taken on October 23 showed that more than 100 people had bought it the day before.
The product is currently sold through a standalone website that features only this item. It’s unclear whether the brand plans to expand the idea into other product categories, but similar designs could work for heated shawls, wearable blankets, and onesies, too.One thing to keep in mind: the Grinch is a protected character. If you want to explore a similar idea, creating your own original holiday character can give your products a festive look without using someone else’s protected IP.
Make Your Own Light-Up Beaded Christmas Tree
This year, DIY beaded Christmas trees have taken off on TikTok. One $19.99 kit has sold 16.3K units and generated $300K in GMV since launching on August 15. A TikTok video with a shopping link for the product has also racked up 6.3 million views. In fact, a client came to us back in August to ask about sourcing this product from China.
The kit includes beads, a metal frame, lights, and decorative accessories. Following the instructions, customers can assemble their own 21 cm-tall mini Christmas tree that lights up. The estimated sourcing cost in China is around $3 per kit.
Interestingly, the idea had already gained traction on TikTok last year. One DIY creator shared a video of herself making a beaded Christmas tree, which received 378,700 likes. This Chinese seller spotted the opportunity and turned the idea into a ready-to-make kit, bundling all the materials and tools customers need to create their own tree. The same concept can also be adapted into other designs, such as beaded snowmen and Christmas wreaths.
However, the popular kit’s product listing later disappeared, and we couldn’t find out why. We also came across customer complaints about incorrect sizing, missing beads, and unclear instructions. So, when helping our client source this DIY kit, we looked beyond price and design. We ordered a sample to test the assembly process, checked the components and dimensions, and make sure clear, easy-to-follow assembly instructions or a video tutorial are available.
One Goose, A New Outfit for Every Holiday
This Christmas season, alongside traditional Santa and snowman decorations, these dress-up porch geese are also worth a look. Plow & Hearth sells Giddy the Goose for around $55. Christmas outfits are sold separately for around $18.
What’s clever here is how the brand turns a one-time purchase into repeat sales. Buy a goose once, then dress it up for different occasions throughout the year. Give it a red-and-green Christmas outfit in December, a funny costume for Halloween, or a gardening-themed look for everyday display. One buyer even commented that with Christmas coming, it was time to dress their Giddy Goose in a cute new outfit.
A Christmas Tree Kids Can Decorate Themselves
If you have kids at home, a Christmas tree with string lights and electrical cords can be a safety concern. Kids may pull on the cords or ornaments, creating potential hazards. Step2 turned this common holiday worry into a toy designed just for little ones.
In October, the brand released a pink version of its classic My First Christmas Tree, now available at Target for $64.99. Standing 33 inches (about 84 cm) tall, it comes with pearl-white and gold ornaments and a miniature train. Kids can hang the ornaments themselves, place the star on top, and push the train around the tree. This lets them join in the holiday decorating fun while giving parents one less worry about little hands getting into the lights or fragile glass ornaments on the tree.
Turn Any Parked Car into a Holiday Display
Projection decorations are commonly used at home, but this Christmas car window projector brings the idea to the road. Launched in September 2026, this “Christmas car window projector” caught people’s attention with an AI-generated product video that racked up 14.7K likes. It projects festive designs featuring Santa Claus, snowmen, reindeer, and more onto car side windows, turning an ordinary parked car into a holiday decoration.
It’s easy to use: simply connect it to a USB power source, adjust the projection angle, and insert your favorite image slide. The product comes in several versions, with 6, 12, 24, or 36 interchangeable Christmas designs. The 6-design version sells for $9.90, while sourcing costs in China range from around $2.50 to $6 per set.
The idea isn’t limited to Christmas, either. Similar projectors are available for Halloween and other holidays. By simply swapping out the image slides, the same product can be used for different occasions, giving cars a festive new look throughout the year.
Mix & Match Christmas Crystal Pet Collars
Most Christmas-themed pet collars often feature fabric, plaid patterns, or bows. This design takes a different approach, pairing a base collar with a crystal-bead chain and interchangeable charms. You can mix and match festive designs like Santa, reindeer, Christmas trees, and little snow houses.
The charms snap on securely with a simple press and are easy to swap out, making it easy to create different looks. The collars come in sizes S to XL, with a buckle version for larger dogs and matching leashes available to complete the set.
We’ve also sourced similar customizable pet accessories with interchangeable components for our clients. For a pet collar like this, we’d focus on making sure the charms are interchangeable, then work with the supplier to negotiate MOQs and mixed-order options for the collars and charms. This helps offer more variety while keeping order quantities and inventory manageable.
Festive Christmas Candles That Double as Decor
Christmas-themed scented candles remain popular this year, and quite a few clients have asked us to source them. These candles come in a range of festive shapes, including Christmas trees, Santa Claus, and snowmen. The goblet-shaped designs stand out in particular. Even when unlit, they make lovely decorations and thoughtful holiday gifts.
Buyers can also build a coordinated Christmas collection by mixing different shapes, scents, and packaging styles. These candles can be sourced from China for around $2 each. Beyond choosing the right designs and fragrances, we also pay attention to how well they burn and how to protect them from damage during shipping.
