Simple customization on existing tool boxesāsuch as inserts, logos, or packaginārequires an MOQ of around 300ā500 pcs per design.
Complex customization with new molds:
- Plastic tool boxes: high MOQ, usually 1,000ā2,000 pcs/design.
- Metal tool boxes: lower than plastic, starting from a few hundred pcs/design.
What about sample costs?
If factories have stock, small tool boxes worth only a few dollars are usually free, you just cover the shipping. Higher-value items like tool carts may require a sample fee, refundable with order.
