Recently, we’re inspecting factories for clients and found some impressive products. So, we ran a few crazy tests. Join our sourcing agent to see these items.

Indestructible Suitcase

Our client wanted the toughest, most indestructible suitcase. So, we turned to a supplier we’ve worked with before. With 16 years of experience, they produce high-quality luggage at 1/15 the price of a Samsonite.

Sounds too good to be true? Well, our sourcing agent Joe decided to put it to the test. The owner was confident, even as we were about to throw this “indestructible” suitcase from the third floor.

We thought it might take some damage, but it didn’t break—just a few scratches.

Roll-up Flower Backdrop

Our Australian client wanted to source flower walls for her wedding planning company. So we headed straight to the largest artificial flower expo in Yiwu. With thousands of artificial flower and plant suppliers, walking through the booths felt like stepping into a sea of flowers.

Flower walls are mostly custom-made for overseas markets, which means they’re rarely in stock. So after hours of searching, we finally found a supplier with exactly what we were looking for.

The roll-up flower wall we found for our client can be set up in just 3 minutes and costs only a few dozen dollars per square meter. You can customize everything, from flower types and colors to accessories.

Fire-Tested Vacuum Cup

We all know Stanley is a big name in the vacuum cup industry. Our client wants a vacuum cup just as good as Stanley’s—but at a better price.

As we mentioned before, over half of the world’s vacuum cups are made in China, with Yongkang as the main production hub. So, we drove 1.5-hour to check out factories and find the best options for our client.

Distance from Jingsourcing to Yongkang

On this street alone, there are nearly 20 vacuum cup suppliers, and most of them produce high-quality tumblers that can rival Stanley’s.

After visiting a few factories, we found that these vacuum cups cost as little as $2–$3 each.

$2 - $3 a vacuum cup

But can the quality really be that good at this price? With that question in mind, we grabbed a sample from a supplier and prepared for a test. The cup was filled with ice, then we placed it straight into the fire.

The vacuum cup survived, and so did the ice. Who would’ve thought a few-dollar cup could handle that?

So, how do they make it?

The secret is actually simple but realistic. This factory has been producing vacuum cups for 10 years and has manufactured OEM products for Starbucks and Coca-Cola.

Magical Color-Changing Fabric

The viral puff jacket and outdoor gear changes color when splashed with water.

Our U.S. client was looking for this special fabric, and we knew Shaoxing was the place to find it. It’s home to China’s largest textile market

Shaoxing taxtile market

This is the largest supplier for color-changing fabrics in the market, and sure enough, they have the color-changing fabric.

Besides fabric that changes color when it gets wet, we also found ones that shift patterns under UV light.

UV-reactive fabric

This one’s pattern disappears as the fabric warms up. Look, Joe put his hand on it, and in no time, the pattern is gone as hand lifts.

Then there were waterproof textiles that resist stains. And here’s the graphene fabric that conducts electricity. With this, check it out, no wires needed. We lit up a bulb using just this fabric.
