Last month, we took a few clients who sourced from China to Yiwu wholesale market. They were curious about the new District 6. What products are there? Any new items worth checking out?
Anyone who has been to Yiwu knows the market is organized by product categories. But as we explored, we found plenty of eye-catching products. Surprisingly, many are hot sellers from the past couple of years and now come in more variations, designs, and combinations. Many stalls already had shops in District 3 or 4 but opened again here. Thereās even a whole floor with AI products, wearable tech, drones, and robots.
Trendy & Lifestyle Accessories
Last year, Labubu blew up and sparked a boom in doll clothes. No matter what kind of toy IP or blind box it is, thereās always demand to dress it up or customize it. From talking with some doll clothing suppliers, we learned that some of them originally made clothes for plush dolls and Barbie dolls. After Labubu went viral, demand for these clothes skyrocketed. At the peak, some factories were producing over 30,000 pieces a day. Now, the styles are getting more detailed and the range of designs keeps expanding.
There are also plenty of products that combine trendy toys with everyday items, like organizer boxes, phone holders, mirrors, Bluetooth speakers, calculators, and more.
There are also realistic food plush toys available as single items, sets, keychains, and oversized versions. They come in a variety of packaging and display options. On-site samples allow testing the feel and bounce.
There are also handcrafted wool felt products, including dolls, bags, hats, and cat beds in different colors. We also find crocheted dolls, bouquet decorations, and Nordic Tilda-style fabric dolls.Ā
Wooden DIY Miniature World toys include classic designs, book nook style miniature scenes with different themes, standalone models, and full-scale replicas of real-life scenes.
Soft silicone products are also easy to spot, mostly types that are already selling well, like straw toppers and novelty night lights in different designs.
Healing & Crystal Products
Consumer demand for crystal healing is growing, and suppliers in District 6 cover almost every type of related product. We spotted everything from raw, unpolished stones to handmade crystal bracelets and even jewelry incorporating tarot elements. The selection is extensive, including amethyst, rose quartz, labradorite, and more, and custom orders are available.
There are also natural healing products made from real fruit shells or seed pods. Different sizes and shapes are strung together to create wind chimes or hanging ornaments that produce a crisp, wood-like sound when gently shaken. They can be used in a meditation corner, as garden decor, or even as small hanging or wearable accessories.
Cosmetics & Nail Products
The cosmetics and nail category is packed with options, including makeup, elaborate press-on nails, nail art products, and nail polish. Youāll find all kinds of gel colors, functional gels, glitter gels, and crystal powders. Products can be sourced as ready-to-sell units or customized in bulk by the kilogram.
High-Tech Products
We found that all the high-tech items are on the third floor, from popular electric suitcases and LED backpacks to smart wearable devices like glasses and rings. There are also drones, robots, exoskeletons, security and monitoring gear, and various AI products.
Adult Products
There are actually a few wholesale shops for adult products, including silicone dolls, sexy lingerie, various sex toys and vibrators, as well as low-temperature candles and leather goods. Most of these are mostly for export, and many designs are developed and manufactured in-house by the factories. For this post, weāre only sharing the parts that can be photographed.
Jewelry & Accessories
The jewelry selection is diverse, especially in vintage and minimalist styles. Most pieces use 18K or 14K gold plating with a matte brushed finish, sometimes paired with Baroque pearls. The pieces feel solid.
Thereās also a line of delicate accessories, including acetate hair clips with bright colors, trendy Y2K-style accesories, and fine silver jewelry. These items follow current trends closely. Suppliers are quick with design, sampling, and new arrivals, keeping up with the latest colors and styles.
There are also niche items, including various pearl jewelry (like high-luster freshwater pearls), statement brooches, long necklaces, and Nepali glass bead braided pieces. Weāve sourced similar brooches for clients in Malaysia and Indonesia, mainly used to secure Muslim headscarves.
Candles, Fragrance & Drinkware
The range of home fragrance products is really broad. Youāll see everything from flameless diffusers and sculptural candles to minimalist designs, Wabiāsabi styles, and handācarved candles. There are also fun options that turn drinks, fruits, or even grape bunch shapes into hanging fragrance pieces, and you can find candle blindābox sets too. Most of them use soy wax, and both the wax base and essential oils meet EU and US ecoāfriendly standards.
