Smart Virtual Partner Got Real
We saw a lot of sex dolls at the expo, and they’re getting seriously realistic with life-size, full-body silicone builds. But then came something even more advanced: an AI-powered virtual partner. The head connects seamlessly with the body, turning it into something straight out of a sci-fi movie — except it’s no longer fiction.
It can chat in customized scenarios, express emotions, and even hold full conversations. The personality, voice, and storyline can all be adjusted through phone, making the experience fully personalized and interactive.
U.S. Brand at China’s Sexiest Expo
The Shanghai API Expo is one of the most eye-opening adult trade shows in China. But what we didn’t expect? A foreign exhibitor right in the mix. The supplier told us they’re a U.S. brand with over 6,000 stores, and every product is made in their Chinese factory.
Their main focus is sex dolls, which can be customized with interchangeable parts. Honestly, we were impressed by the level of detail — even the fingers were fully poseable, and there were no visible seams at all.
Creative Products Made for Specific Need
Beyond the usual vibrators, dildos, and strokers, we saw a ton of products designed for women. Many of them had discreet, everyday shapes, like lipstick or ice cream vibrators. You’d never guess these cute little things were adult toys.
There were also low-temperature wax candles in all kinds of creative shapes, made for sensory play. The well-designed doll parts were detailed and nicely made. To help us understand how their products works, one supplier even showed us how it’s used in a BDSM roleplay scenario.
As for SM leather sets, a full genuine leather set including packaging costs less than $15. The PU faux leather version is about half the price, only $6 to $7 for the whole set.
Fun Finds Beyond the “Sex” Stuff
To wrap things up, let’s look at something fun we found. Beyond all the sex-related products, this expo had some pretty quirky and unexpected designs too. Just look at the weird hat Karen spotted, and those questionable slippers and aprons. Would anyone actually take these home?
