The raised dots on its surface increase water contact and double the release of copper ions. Although this seller wasn’t the first to offer copper disks, their results are outstanding. Launched in March, the product got its first sale after just 14 days and went on to sell over 11,000 units in four days this month, generating more than $146K in revenue. It offers two variations. Thanks to its compact design, the disk fits into a small envelope and keeps FBA shipping fees around $3.
Recent daily sales are 350+ units, and within 3 months they’ve earned 392 ratings with a 4.5-star average. Customers consistently highlight how the disk reduces algae growth, combining strong volume with great reviews.

Some reviews also shared useful feedback. Customers want the disk to stay effective for a longer period without needing replacement. Others are asking for larger size options to fit bigger bird baths. There’s also demand for a more durable design that resists discoloration and wear over time. These are clear signals for future development.
The product price fluctuates frequently between $9.99 and $13.99 as part of a high-frequency, small-step pricing strategy. This helps test price sensitivity and respond to new competitors entering the market. Most of the time, the list price is kept at $15.99, so the actual selling price feels like a deep discount. When the BSR slightly dropped in June, the seller activated a 21% coupon, which quickly boosted the ranking and helped it climb steadily again.

Unlike Erva’s niche focus, Mellbree moves across categories, quickly spotting profitable niches, iterating fast, and it’s paid off brilliantly in this case.

The data shows that products in the copper disk cleaner niche have already built solid sales and review momentum. Both sales volume and rankings are still climbing fast, pointing to active market expansion. New sellers are either launching fresh designs, like cherry blossom shapes or bird-shaped copper, or offering multi-packs to meet demand from buyers who want more than one.
